(BOW: TSX-V, “The Company”) is pleased to announce that it had entered into an agreement with G4 Drilling Inc. for its 2000 meter drill program on the Sta-Elvira property. The drill and grew has been mobilized and has been on site since Monday November 30, 2009 and the drill program is presently underway.
BOWMORE announces first phase drill results from the Ste-Marguerite property in Quebec.
Montreal, March 18, 2009: Bowmore Exploration Ltd., (TSXV- BOW) (“Bowmore” or the “Company”) reports results of its first phase drill program from the joint ventured Ste-Marguerite gold property, located in the Gaspé peninsula, Quebec.
Eight (8) holes were drilled in two previously unexplored areas on the southern side of the basalt / sedimentary rock contact, where most of the historical mineralization is known to occur. Surface arsenic and gold anomalies extend along a strike length of at least 500 metres in both areas. A total of 916 metres were drilled and 232 samples were taken for assaying at ALS Chemex in Val d’Or, Quebec. Favorable quartz veins and brecciated fault zones were intersected in most holes, and anomalous gold values (0.05 g/t to 0.95 g/t Au over 1 to 10 metres) were intersected in six of the eight holes.
BOWMORE signs an Option to Acquire 100% of SANTA ELVIRA gold-copper skarn Property in Chihuahua State, Mexico
Montréal, Québec – April 2nd, 2009 – BOWMORE Exploration Ltd. (BOW: TSX-V, “The Company”) is pleased to announce that it has signed an Option Agreement to acquire 100% of the Santa Elvira gold-copper skarn property (the “Property”) in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico from Corporativo Minero S.A. de C.V., a Mexican mining corporation.
The Property covers 563 hectares and is located on the Sierra Madre gold belt, and has been the object of prospecting, sampling and geological mapping. BOWMORE will soon file a NI 43-101 report and initiate a drilling program to assess the full potential of the property.
